Position Description:
Clinical Quality Program Director is responsible for assisting with the analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality initiatives that promote clinical strategies. The Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for identifying appropriate solutions for clinical initiatives in a timely manner and is actively involved in process redesign and re-engineering. The Clinical Quality Program Director is responsible for participating in a cross functional team and facilitating the process to ensure project goals are met at its completion.
Experience Required: RN with CPHQ preferred. Leadership experience a must! Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field. Minimum of five years experience in clinical nursing or related field and three years quality improvement experience. Project management, team leading and facilitation skills required. Candidates must possess a high level of energy as well as a strong commitment to excellence and process improvement. The ability to demonstrate critical thinking and ethical behaviors is required. Self-motivation and professional attitudes are essential . PC software skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database, statistical process control applications, decision support systems, comparative and benchmarking skills, Visio, Power Point, Microsoft Project Manager skills preferred
