Facility Description:
This is a fully integrated health care organization employing over 50 physicians and midlevel providers. There are two hospital campuses and three multi-specialty clinics which offer a full range of service to Gallup and the surrounding area. is an integrated delivery system providing care for Northwestern New Mexico and Eastern Arizona. We are proud to continue a history of healthcare dating back to the early 1900s. As a private, not-for-profit healthcare system, we are committed to improving the health and wellness of our community and the individuals for whom we care. The facility consists of a 69-bed, full-service, JCAHO accredited acute care hospital; three outpatient clinics; hospice/home health and behavioral health services.
Position Description:
Oversees the full scope of human resources. Directs staff in the areas of: organizational structure, employment, compensation, employee database maintenance, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, orientation/training/development, and policy/procedure development. Oversees development and monitoring of the human resources division budget.
Experience Required:
Must have demonstrated proficiency with applicable laws/regulations and management theories, including policy/procedure development and labor union activities; strong organizational skills in the areas of operations, budget and project administration; effective interface with diverse groups; effective supervisory skills.
Experience: Requires at least 10 years progressive human resources generalist experience with more than five years at senior management level in a high-volume environment. Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and analysis
Ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, direct, counsel and develop staff; communication and positive employee relation skills; knowledge of regulatory standards for compliance.
Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to direct and manage projects and/or programs; Ability to prepare technical reports; Advanced computer skills Leadership experience.
