Position Description: 

Full time.  BSN required with leadership in Emergency Services required. State of NM license.

Must have knowledge of nursing, standards based practice, & shared governance, in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data.  Must have an understanding of human resource issues, operational budget, and financial resources. This staff member must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served.

Primary Job Functions

Operational activities include: planning, directing and coordinating the operational, financial and personnel activities of the designated departments.  Provides clinical and operational leadership.

• Acts as a clinical resource for the department.

 Maintains current knowledge of information in related field through seminars, workshops and publications.

• Participates in the implementation of change projects/initiatives.

• Supports and participates in unit based and system wide shared governance councils.

• Performs other functions as required

Experience Required: RN, BSN,...Master's preferred. Leadership experience. Renovation/Construction experience required. Appropriate Licensure and Credentials.
