This facility is located in the heart of Albuquerque. It has newly renovated hospital features state of the art equipment on every floor and the best care in town.
Position Description:
Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities of Medical Records, Coding and Transcription Departments to ensure procedures adhere to standards of various accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides systems for acquiring, analyzing, sorting and retrieving information. Prepares and manages budgets, manages/supervises staff and ensures quality services are provided through daily operations. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Experience Required: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in related field of study; Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy
Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to direct and manage projects and/or programs; Ability to prepare technical reports; Advanced computer skills
Five (5) years of related experience of which three (3) years must have been in a supervisory capacity. Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy.
