Position Description: Responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, staffing, scheduling, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the OR/PACU departments. Responsible for maintaining all regulatory requirements effecting the department and for the development and implementation of policy, procedures and security protocols for pharmacy drugs and supplies. Maintains proper level of supplies. Responsible for the development, training, performance reviews and feedback to all staff members. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Requirements: Education: Required -RN/BSN PACU certification preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Excellent communication skills. General knowledge of hospital operations, structure and personnel policies. Understanding of accounting principles. Expertise in using creative solutions to resolve issues.
