Debra Perez, BSN, MBA - President
Debra has been working with organizations to increase their productivity, develop their leaders and front line staff and improve the overall organizational culture. Debra has 24 years of successful work history in nursing, including fifteen years in key leadership positions, such as Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and Director of Critical Care. Debra is adept at evaluating existing work processes, systems and operations, identifying causes of problems and inefficiencies, defining achievable goals, and developing/implementing procedures, policies and training programs to meet immediate needs and advance long-range objectives. She is a natural leader with a proven capacity to motivate individuals to achieve their highest potential and has specific talents in the startup of new hospitals, units and programs. Debra provides mentoring to leaders and managers, executive coaching, professional healthcare placement, strategic planning, financial stewardship training, implementation of customer service programs, preparation for regulatory surveys, such as JCAHO and CMS, as well as proven recruitment and retention strategies. Debra earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration/Health Care Administration. Debra serves on the Executive Board of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Collaborative in New Mexico.
Kris Calhoun, CHA-Associate
Kris has over 15 years of proven success in leading startup, turn around and growth companies to increased revenue and profit performance. His expertise includes operations, business development, professional development of personnel, customer service program implementation, quality performance, and strategic planning. He is adept at developing and implementing business plans and strategic plans for large hotel organizations and currently owns a pharmacy that is ranked first in the city in service and far exceeds the competitive set in revenue. Kris understands the challenges of healthcare and is capable of moving organizations through positive cultural changes. His strategies have transformed several facilities in their quest to become best in class. He is adept at service and revenue improvement, personnel selection and retention, leadership development, workflow process improvement and strategic planning. Kris lives in North Carolina.
Charlotte Breeden, RPh - Associate
Charlotte Breeden brings nearly 15 years of pharmacy practice experience. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings, including high-tech infusion therapy, hospital pharmacy; long-term care consulting, investigational drug specialist and community pharmacy. Charlotte has experience in pharmacy management as well as staff and management development. She is adept at evaluating workflow processes, and formulating policy and procedures. Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Pharmacy and Biology from the University of New Mexico. She has completed an ASHP-accredited residency and has served as a clinical specialist in a 1500 bed hospital. Additionally, she has published several research articles and has presented at professional society meetings. She is an active member in pharmaceutical societies and has served on various committees and boards to increase quality assurance initiatives. She is currently a consultant pharmacist for various facilities. Charlotte lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Kathie Calhoun, RN -Associate
Kathie has over 30 years of nursing experience. She possesses extensive knowledge and practical application of professional patient care, leadership development and professional placement. Her vast clinical experience includes pediatrics, med-surg, oncology, behavioral health, radiology and pain management. Kathie was instrumental in the development, implementation and management of one of the first Pain Management clinics in North Carolina. She also served as a flight nurse with the United States Air Force and was a member of the National Guard. Kathie remains clinically active as a patient care provider and has working knowledge of the skills required in today's hospital settings. Kathie lives in North Carolina.
Anna von Dielingen, MSN, RN- Associate
Anna is an Associate of Leadership Excellence Solutions, LLC. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and has held both formal leadership and educator positions in healthcare. These positions include management, non-profit Board positions, NM Chapter President and Western Regional Director for the Academy of Medical Surgical Nursing, advanced practice nursing, and years of informal leadership. Ms. Von Dielingen has a passion for training others; as the Director of the Clinical Teaching Institute at the NM Center for Nursing Excellence, she facilitates leadership and preceptor workshops. Anna generates enthusiasm for a topic by eliciting participation from workshop attendees with a strong focus on engaging everyone in the group. Anna has recently trained as a facilitator for Appreciative Inquiry. She received a Master's in Nursing Education from California State University, and undergraduate degrees from Purdue and Indiana Universities. Anna resides in Albuquerque, NM.
Jim Hughes, Associate
Jim Hughes is a natural leader that brings charisma and energy to any organization. Jim began working in the training and development field in the late 1990's when his career focus shifted from youth development, to workplace learning and performance. Jim has extensive experience developing and facilitating management and staff development programs, strategic planning, working with teams in both public and private sector organizations.
Jim prides himself on making connections with his participants and pushing the envelope with experiential instructional design. Jim helps to advance the workplace learning and performance profession by serving in leadership roles within his community of practice; Past President of the NM American Society of Training and Development and currently in the role of Member at Large. Jim also serves on the NM Professional Alliance Board of Directors as a founding member and Board Chair

Phoenix , in
Albuquerque . In addition, Jim holds certifications in Principles of Genuine Leadership and Stellar Service from Achieve Global, Inc. as well as Trust Builder, from TrustWorks! Jim and his wife, Michelle Sandoval have two children Noah and Elyse and live in
Albuquerque, NE Heights.
Rebecca A. Calhoun, MD
Rebecca is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina State. She graduated from the Brody School of Medicine and brings extensive physician experience to the team. Emergency Medicine residency prepared her to play a key role in the hub of the hospital. She is adept in hospital process flow, hospital revenue generation, patient care and creating a team environment.
